Did you already go to a digital Van Gogh exhibit this summer? Now that Canada’s reopened its borders to the United States, you can get moving to a new Monet exhibit that debuts in Toronto on August 12.
Designed by Mathieu St-Arnaud—the same French Canadian creative director behind the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit—Beyond Monet will be at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre August 12 through October 3, 2021. Tickets are available to purchase directly through MonetToronto.com.
Similar to the digital Van Gogh exhibit, this all new Monet digital art show will feature works from the French impressionist projected on the walls of the 50,000 square-foot venue set to music and sound effects. Visitors can expect to see such masterpieces as Poppies, Impression: Sunrise, as well as his iconic Water Lilies series.
Safety measures in place for COVID-19 include timed ticket sales to limit capacity and allow for social distancing within exhibit spaces, as well as hand sanitizing stations throughout the exhibit. Masks are required inside the venue.
Beyond Monet is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. Admission Monday through Thursday is $40 for adults, $36 for students up to 25 years and seniors 65 years and up, and $30 for children age 5 to 15.
Admission Friday through Sunday and holidays is $50 for adults, $46 for students up to 25 years and seniors 65 years and up, and $30 for children age 5 to 15. Children under 5 enter for free. VIP and flexible tickets are available in addition to the standard timed ticket options. Tickets can be purchased through MonetToronto.com.
